Community Food Distribution Program

The Penn North Community is the global epicenter for COVID-19.

Inaction from the government is leaving our most vulnerable left to fend for themselves. Not on our watch!

The Face Organization in community partnership with the

University of Maryland Medical Center & Saval Foods Distribution

We receive 350 boxes for food distribution on the second and fourth Wednesdays each month.

The boxes will include a variety of produce each time.

In addition within the past month, we’ve been doing wellness checks and serving the elders with access to food who can’t come outside. Since we’ve been doing free monthly food distribution throughout the Sandtown community over the last 12 months, our phones are ringing off the hook with people who need food and medical/mental health services.

We Take Care of Our People. Please support our campaign to get the people what they need.
